Kirsten’s role is focused on ensuring the compliant, responsible and ethical use of data and artificial intelligence (AI) to support BNY’s strategic goals. She leads the Global Privacy and Responsible AI Offices, and serves on enterprise governance bodies covering AI, Data and Privacy, Insider Threat and Third Party Risk.

Outside of BNY, Kirsten is the Chair of the Data Committee of the UK’s International Regulatory Strategy Group (IRSG) and serves on the IRSG Executive Board. She also serves on the global Advisory Boards of the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and the PICCASO privacy and security special interest group.
