| Andrew Boyagi is Customer CTO and Head of DevOps Evangelism at Atlassian. He works with some of the world's largest organisations, including major banks and financial institutions, to improve their developer experience and productivity. He brings more than 20 years of experience in software delivery and service management in large enterprises. Before joining Atlassian, Andrew was an Executive Manager at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the country's largest bank. There he set up and grew a platform engineering function supporting 7,000 engineers, and built an in-house developer platform that measurably improved the developer experience across the bank. That time inside a large, highly regulated bank shapes his practical, real-world view of how financial services firms can deliver software faster without losing control. He is known for linking engineering teams with the C-suite, and for arguing that leaders should focus on improving developer productivity rather than just measuring it. That view matters more now that AI is changing how software gets built. Andrew speaks regularly at global events including Atlassian Team, GitHub Universe and AWS re:Invent. He holds an MBA from Southern Cross University. |
