Shehryar is the Managing Director – Models, Data and AI Audit at Lloyds Banking Group where he has oversight of the teams that provide audit coverage over Data Risk and AI delivery, Models Risk, as well as the AI Data & Engineering team that delivers data science and AI to support innovation, and supports technology within the function. Shehryar is a software engineer by qualification, and after spending his initial career in Tech, he moved to audit. He has since worked for one of the Big 4 and a number of Global banks, with Deutsche Bank being the last one before joining Lloyds.
